Synergy
Location: Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw

Forming the centrepiece of the newly redesigned foyer at Mayer Brown Rowe and Maw, Synergy, a stunning suspended sculpture is the focal point of the firm¹s newly refurbished reception. The four metre high sculpture, fabricated in 2 parts from mirror-polished stainless steel with 8 shaped and curved blue colour laminated glass sections, now hangs within the curving stairwell. Working with the architects Gensler, the bespoke design was developed specifically for the American law firm by Simon Moss and Peter Layton. The elegant steel and glass sculpture entitled, OSynergy¹ was designed to animate the space introducing light, colour and movement during the day and at night. Our aim was to create a dynamic artwork that is modern and sophisticated, also intriguing and timeless, communicating values beyond the merely decorative, linking interconnected strands of commerce and law.
