Azura
2010, P&O
Eclat 1 and 2, + Filigree panels
For 'Azura' we have made use of layering in combination with precise cutting and polishing to describe smooth flowing feminine shapes that explore negative and positive form within the pieces. A bespoke, highly visible and dynamic artwork transforms its location and functions as a visual accent. In this context our work may be seen as environmental jewellery.
The adjacent glass panels entitled 'Filigree' continue our exploration of glimpsed views, the gilded design implying pleated flowing fabric, which is parted to reveal the precious contents.
